At its spring meeting the IMF has agreed in principle to the Greek rescue package

Greece dominated yesterday's International Monetary Fund meeting in Washington. IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn said he was impressed with Greece's determination to tackle its financial crisis. The meeting was supposed to be about regulating the international financial scene, to prevent another global meltdown, but the situation in Greece has become critical in the Eurozone.
